MOVING ON IN SOUTH SUDAN IS THE ONLY OPTION-PAST SHOULD NOT JEOPARDIZE OUR FUTURE

Outcome of the international probe committee into the Garang's Death; the genuine report of this investigation is likely to be dominated or even bought by a group of people within the investigation committee should it interpret any possible internal or external factors behind the death of Col. Garang.

As rumors provide possibilities of three hired Rwandese terrorist to assassinate Col. Garang on his way from Uganda to South Sudan, these reports provide further that the body of Garang and his aids were sprayed by bullets which gives a possibility of an occurrence of an argument on board which resulted to cross fire clash in the helicopter, similar to Arok Thon Arop assassination. The point here is; should it leak out that Rwanda was behind the death of Garang there are possibilities of war breaking out in Rwanda which may not be what the world would like to witness, same to any possible involvements of Uganda in the crash.

The suspicions that the Government of Sudan-GoS is behind the death of Col. Garang is justified by the fact that this is not the first assassination of South Sudan¡¯s leaders by Khartoum regime, and this time as concluded by the Southern Sudanese across the world that they shall not tolerate any reports confirming Khartoum to have been behind the accident. The international community will in itself collectively look into the matter in a way to suit the Southern Sudanese, if their involvement on Sudan is to settle the conflicts.

People outline or fear to air the fact that international opportunist on Sudan oil, and other resources are possibly involved, it is unacceptable when accusers look at masterminds behind such conspiracies, they look not at countries like China, Malaysia, Canada, USA etc. who are the big contenders in the exploitation of Sudan, these are groups of opportunists that have supported the war for good and for bad in the country for many years and are of course likely to get rid of any man who dare stand on their way to exploit these resources. There are no given facts that Col. Garang might have tried to push any of the contenders aside after he had managed to negotiate a six year cease fire with the government, but before he flew for Southern Sudan from Uganda he had met American and European diplomats and agendas of meeting are due to be clarified.

As may be clear above; we have to withdraw our hopes that there is anything such as the ¡°truth¡± shall be provided to us by these investigation committee and just move on with what we have ahead of time.

Rioting investigation committee; it is equally unacceptable that an investigation be launched to investigate any possible masterminds or political factions behind the rioting following the death of Col. Garang, for these rioting were by no way pushed by any organized groups or political factions whatsoever, but just out of total conviction of all Southerners across the globe, including those in exile who were able to control their emotions for adherence to the laws of their respective countries of residence and reservation of the special dignity of Southern Sudanese.

The SPLM without any rejection of any initiatives that may be consider as fair by international community made part of the investigations into these riots, but for unclear reasons the government of Sudan organized another initiative made of the police and the military which raided South Sudanese¡¯s IDPs camps in Khartoum killing more than twenty Southerners IDPs. This angered the SPLM team in the committee and withdrew, but they are not to blame, are they?

United Sudan scenario; is not achievable as it is clear to Southern Sudanese for a simple justified reason provided by HE. Riek. ¡°Unity can only be made attractive to South Sudanese if the north / Khartoum government developed the South similarly to the north in this six years¡±, without this put into implementation one way or the other, then there is no way around, otherwise the current statistics provide that 96% of Southern Sudanese around the world and in Sudan are in favor of succession, that translates to the fact that there is no doubt of the government of national unity being able to convince to 10% of these 96% which makes it 86% remaining in favor of succession and is a wining percentage for Southern Sudanese. South is not obviously just looking at succeeding but solving the varied differences there are between the north and the south, succession will also help the south in a way that settling any differences among themselves will be easier solve with out interference of external factors.

South Sudan's / SPLM/A leaders logistical matters; Col. Garang arrived Khartoum from Rumbek on the Joint Military Commission air craft of Britain on the 8th of July 2005 and for very many years have been using air crafts, helicopters or planes that are owned by particular African leaders or that are of general public, well it is acceptable that there was never any given chance to look at that as unacceptable given to occupation of war and lack of ready resources then, but due to all these borrowed air transport and personnel viewed by many as a weakness that the South Sudanese had as it lead to the death of a very prominent leader and made a very huge loop.

The agreements (CPA) reached with the government of Sudan do not deprive our leaders of there own air transport and personnel and that should have and still should be a priority as our leaders of the South starting with HE Salva KIIR to ministers of the government of South Sudan require there own air transport and personnel, these shall also give the South Sudanese and their leaders peace of mind as the pilot to the air crew team are of there own, we cannot just watch this leaders being flown in all many kinds of crafts, planes and when accidents occurs it is as difficult to determine why and how it happened as we have witnessed in the many other past accidents that cost us the lives of our strong and capable leaders.

Current political system of the GoSS; there are concerns around the world of the system type in South Sudan or that is likely to be adopted as it is so complex to understand the current transition system in place, we await, but mistakes should not be repeatedly made in appointment, selection or mandate of officers to occupy any offices, the military that have been in the field for over twenty years for instance should of course be given the highest priority, but still considering after appointment of comrades and assigned to duties shall have the capabilities of fulfilling the duty as it would be equally unreasonable to allocate responsibility to an individual without any capabilities to achieve the objectives of his or her department in a given duration.

Inclusiveness of the global South Sudan populace is highly necessary as there is a good number of South Sudanese around the world with the highest level of academic qualifications that have been as refugees for several years now looking at repatriating back to their respective communities in South Sudan but faced with the fears of not being incorporated into the current system of the GoSS as the system points figures at those that have fought for short time or never went to the frontline at all, no given facts are there to say that the SPLM leadership encourages stigma of individuals involved in the system but there is a need to oriented the SPLA or the military sector of the justified fact that we cannot have a prosperous economy in the South Sudan if we have no academically qualified and experienced personnel in the development of the South now and after referendum.

The IDPs and integration into their respective societies; South Sudanese in and outside Sudan encourage the GoSS to take it a priority to repatriate South Sudanese IDPs in northern Sudan and integrate them into there respective host communities as they still face continued harassment by government personnel in the police or military as mentioned the raiding of the IDPs camps above is intolerable.

It is also not justified to still keep them in suck, shack, and plastic houses in the hit and bad weather of the north and deprive them the natural land in the South where they belong and protected with dignity and can farm there own food under not restricted circumstances.
