Legal Resources Centre

The Legal Resources Centre is a public interest law initiative which uses law as an instrument of justice. By working to provide legal services to marginalized communities the Legal Resources Centre aims to build respect for the rule of law and ensure that the rights enshrined in international law and the South African Constitution.

The LRC has offered legal advice to thousands of refugees needing guidance in their dealings with the Department of Home Affairs. They have also taken on a number of cases and monitored developments in national refugee law.
